Shipbreaking, or ship demolition, is a method of disposing of ships by breaking them into scrap for recycling. Most ships have a lifespan of only a few decades before they require repairs and become uneconomical. Shipbreaking allows the materials from which the ship is made, particularly steel, to be recycled. Equipment previously used on the ship can also be reused.

In collaboration with the Royal Commission and the Traffic Department in the Jubail area, this massive boiler, which is approximately 13 meters high, 15 meters wide, 11 meters long, and weighing about 600 tons, was transported via specialized trailers from the site of Petrokemya in the industrial area to a warehouse located 15 kilometers away from the industrial area.

In the city of Yanbu, specifically within the industrial city, the dismantling and removal process of the desalination units at Marafiq Company has been completed, despite the challenges we have overcome by the grace of God, which include heavy loads, high elevations, and transportation operations inside and outside the company. The project was completed without any notable incidents.

In the midst of many challenges related to working at great heights and safely removing flammable materials from the site in high-temperature conditions, the work was completed, which involved dismantling gas turbines and cutting diesel tanks, in a brief period of less than two months. The work was carried out with high precision and professionalism, earning the satisfaction of everyone.

On the shores of the Red Sea, within the city of Jeddah, and with the many challenges faced by the metal gathering company, the reverse osmosis stations (RO1, RP2) were removed with skilled personnel and modern equipment that contributed to the success of this giant project, which lasted for two years of diligent and serious work day and night.

At the end of 2021, a metal aggregation company began its story focused on demolishing and removing informal neighborhoods, aiming to build organized and orderly neighborhoods within the city of Jeddah. The story began with the demolition and removal of Al-Thi'alabah, which was one of the first neighborhoods to be removed by the company, covering an area of more than two million square meters. It has been completely removed, and the sites of the old buildings have been leveled to prepare for a bright future.

Only 6 months after starting the demolition and removal works in the Al-Thaaliba neighborhood, the Metal Collecting Company began demolition and removal works in the Al-Rawabi neighborhood. This increased the project challenges in terms of the large number of equipment and workers involved. However, the company managed to complete the project in parallel with the demolition and removal works in the Al-Thaaliba neighborhood, bringing the total area demolished to over 4 million square meters in a record time of less than two years.
